A powerful blend of raw granite and handcrafted pine wood, designed for the Baruipur Press Club to honor the unsung heroes of our society.
Every year, the Baruipur Press Club honors 5-6 extraordinary individuals—everyday people who step outside their normal lives to fight for society. The client’s ask was deeply emotional: "Design a memento where their life story will be written." They didn't want just a title; they wanted a physical canvas that could hold the weight of a person's life journey.
When a life story is this powerful and deep, it shouldn't be printed on something fragile like glass or plastic. We wanted the award itself to feel as strong as the people receiving it. That’s why we chose original, heavy granite. The solid stone perfectly represents the raw strength and unwavering depth of their struggles. By putting their stories next to the granite, we made sure their legacy felt permanent and unbreakable.
We balanced the cold, heavy strength of the granite with the warmth of natural pine wood. We brought in local artisans to handcraft the wooden section, giving the piece a grounded, earthy feel. Finally, to add a premium touch of respect, the title "Arghya" was finished in striking golden letters, glowing beautifully against the dark stone backdrop.
